In view of the state of emergency in our country and in connection with the distance online training at the Faculty of Economics of South-West University, I would like to thank you on behalf of all my fellow lecturers at the Faculty of Economics for the efforts you are making and the results you show in your course assignments and projects! We appreciate the effort and hard work you are doing to keep up with the entire weekly flow of lecture material and tasks related to your independent learning. Unfortunately, we are all put in extreme and stressful working conditions, but in compliance with the state of emergency legislation in the country, in compliance with the provisions and instructions of the Rector and the Rector's team of SWU "Neofit Rilski" and in our deep inner conviction, we owe it to you and must preserve your health, the health of your families and the health of your fellow students and faculty. This requires that we continue to work in the context of distance learning and a weekly connection between you and your teachers.
We would not suspend classes because there is a risk that you will not be honored this school year and have to repeat the same course of study. We are also aware that for many of you, completing your studies within the timeframe you have planned is tied to finding a job, your career development, as well as being able to realize all your further plans in a personal and family aspect. All of this requires all of us students and faculty to show understanding and deal with the situation with the available technical means, information technologies and our personal skills. If you have any problems and need assistance in the process of your distance learning, your teachers and the whole administrative staff of the Faculty of Economics will be ready to respond and will make every effort to assist you in the best possible way!
When the state of emergency is over, we all will be able to return safely to the auditoria and classrooms and begin attendance classes. I believe that then any issues that have remained unclear about the study material will be clarified and specified. Any assistance from the Dean's Office, from the Heads of Departments and/or from the administrative staff of the Faculty will be provided to you.
All of us who work at the Faculty of Economics of South-West University Neofit Rilski highly appreciate your diligence and striving to keep up with the deadlines set by your professors and lecturers! You are doing excellent job and it is evident that you are able to get acquainted with the study material and acquire the required knowledge, skills and competences. We are proud of you and rest assured that your efforts will be rewarded.
